WHERE YOU WILL LAND
You are a Senior Product Owner within a traveler-focused department. Facilitating travelers in the Netherlands so that the journey they make is meaningful to them. Your skills and experience will add value in:

• Maximizing value, mapping out scenarios to weigh different options from a customer and business perspective.
• Take responsibility for results within the framework, view and communicate results on a structural basis and proactively manage where necessary.
• Defining and sharing the product vision to stakeholders and the translation into concrete steps for the teams.
• Enabling teams to work on the right things and be effective through proper backlog prioritization.
• Develop and monitor roadmap at team level, steer on implementation of own product/service.
• Helping other teams with their CD/CI pipelines and cloud progress, based on integral, improvements and further automation.
• Mapping, involving and informing stakeholders at product level.
• Taking and inspiring the teams on content and achieving goals.
• Translate business interest into technical and sustainable solutions. Identifying dependencies between teams.
• Contributing from development to further development and optimization of the AWS platform.
• Migrating legacy systems to cloud environments (Aws, Azure and Mendix).
• Contributing from operations to Operational management of the AWS platform.
• Propagating the Do-it-yourself principle and technical vibe within the cluster.
• Pro-actively facilitate the team in its development towards a high performing team.

Team AWS
As PO of the AWS team you are responsible for the migration to the cloud as well as the further development, optimization and management of the Amazon Webservices Platform (AWS). From your PO role, you are the primary point of contact for the business and responsible for the prioritization of the backlog and division of work within the team. In your work you have a lot of coordination with other teams about technical solutions and dependencies. Keywords the team stands for: robust solution, agility, CD/CI, AI Ops, Safe.

Team API
The API management team is a new team and should ensure moving more towards an API first landscape with a higher degree of reusability of services. Because many components will be replaced in the coming years, the APIs will also have to be adapted for this.

Both teams are located in the fundamentals layer and not only ensure the delivery of reliable platforms, but also work through automated pipelines and innovation to reduce time to market, experiment and enable with cost-efficient AI predictive models.

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum of Bachelor or Master work/thinking level.
• At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in complex IT environments.
• Knowledge of or ability to lead technical teams (e.g. cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, APIs). Preferably certified.
• Entrepreneurial data-driven mindset, in which long-term strategy and short-term actions (experiments and validation) ensure the desired results.
• Ownership 'you build it, you own it, you love it'.
• Basic understanding of Java.
• Demonstrated experience in operational management.
• Understanding of advanced monitoring & alerting, backup & restore, networking, etc.
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile/scrum.
• Methodically grounded: service design, UX, SAFe, Scrum and Kanban.
